Kids Mehndi Designs: Background and Style

Children's mehndi uses small, simple motifs that can be finished in a few minutes. Children's skin is more sensitive than adults', so only natural henna paste should be used. Black henna often contains PPD, a hair-dye chemical that can cause serious skin reactions, and should never be used on children. Henna should not be used on babies, and children with G6PD deficiency should avoid it; ask a doctor if you are unsure.
