Ornate Eid Bell Garland Mehndi Design for Arm

Photo by Mehndi Design Henna Collection (Unknown)
An artistic eid mehndi design tailored for the arm, featuring circular medallion and teardrop cascade. Rated as Easy, this pattern is perfect for a wedding.
Henna on the forearm stains lighter than on the palm because the skin is thinner. Arm designs are easier to apply on someone else than on yourself, especially past the wrist. This is a beginner-friendly pattern: practise the main shapes on paper first, then copy them onto skin with a fine-tipped cone.
In South Asia, mehndi is traditionally applied on Chaand Raat, the night before Eid, when the new moon is sighted. Mehndi is worn for both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as part of dressing up for the celebration.
Application tips: Wash and dry the skin before application and skip lotion or oil, which block the dye. Keeping the skin warm while the paste is on helps the colour develop.
